CyberEthos does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to any server. All app settings (hotkey configuration, feature toggles, and local usage counters) are stored only on your own device in a local settings file and are never sent anywhere.
CyberEthos can optionally disconnect network adapters and close specific applications when the Panic Mode feature is triggered. These actions are performed locally on your device and are not logged, stored, or transmitted.
The CyberEthos browser extension observes file uploads and downloads only to display a brief reflection prompt before they proceed. It does not log, store, transmit, or analyze the files or their contents.
The app's Learn and Support sections link to external websites (such as staysafeonline.org, connectsafely.org, and cybercivilrights.org). These sites maintain their own independent privacy practices, which CyberEthos does not control.
